Bahram Beigy Waterfall, Yasuj, Iran


TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Bahram Beigi waterfall is located in the Deli Bahram Beigi village, one of the central environs of Dena at the distance of 50 km of north-west of Sisakht and 70 km from Yasuj, the capital of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad Province.

This waterfall is falling from heights with the height of almost 35 m, having the cold and fresh water, to the meandering valleys which are covering with plane and walnut trees having the antiquity of several hundred years, with different vegetables on the foothill of the beautiful waterfall, it is also pouring down to the plains of lower part.

Cheshmeh Mishi spring is located at a distance of 5 km from the northeast of Sisakht and due to suitable conditions offers recreational opportunities. The water of this spring is gained from the Dena Mountain and creates a very attractive view.

The natural verdant surrounding of this spring has brought about a recreational spot. Mount Dena is the highest mountain of Zagros sierra. Peaks of Dena are higher than 4000m, and the most higher one is Bijan3 that the height is 4409m at the distance of 35 km from Sisakht city, the center of Dena. There are many valleys with small fountains on the mountainside.
