3 Palestinians Shot, Injured in Gaza Protests

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces shot and injured three Palestinians during protests east of Khan Younis in the southern besieged Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, three Palestinians were shot and injured with live ammunition late on Thursday, Ma’an news agency reported.

They were immediately transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Hundreds of Palestinians gathered along the eastern borders of Khan Younis to protest against the nearly 12-year Israeli siege.

Israeli forces repeatedly fired live ammunition and tear-gas bombs towards the large groups of protesters.

For several weeks, hundreds of Palestinian protesters have been organizing as well as participating in night protests, during which they set tires on fire and chant slogans through loudspeakers, while marching towards the border.
