Iran Greco-Roman Team Wins U-23 Senior Asian Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran Greco-Roman wrestling team claimed the title of the U-23 Senior Asian Championships.
The Iranian wrestlers won four gold, three silver and two bronze medals in the competition held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Meysam Delkhani in 63kg, Amin Kavianinejad in 72kg, Mehdi Ebrahimi in 82kg and Mohammad Hadi Saravi in 87kg claimed four gold medals for Iran.
Pouya Dadmarz in 55kg, Mohammad Reza Geraei in 77kg and Ali Akbar Yousefi in 130kg won three silver medals.
Mehdi Mohsennejad in 60kg and Hossein Arianejad in 97kg also seized two bronze medals.
Iran claimed the title with 202 points, followed by Kyrgyzstan (182 points) and Kazakhstan (167 points).
