Masoud Khosravinejad Named Iran’s Judo Coach


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Masoud Khosravinejad has been named the new head coach of Iran judo national team.

Khosravinejad replaced Mohammad Mansouri who stepped down from his post after Arash Miresmaeili was elected the head of Iran judo federation.

Khosravinejad finished fifth in the 90-kg division at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, and later represented Iran at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

He will head Team Melli in the Asian-Pacific Judo Championships Seniors and Teams 2019.

The event will be held at Fujairah, United Arab Emirates from April 20 to 23.
