Syrian Army Inflicts Heavy Losses on Terrorist in Hama Offensive (+Video)


TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Syrian army’s ground and air forces conducted massive military operation and destroyed dens and gathering positions of terrorists in Northern Hama province.

Army units on Tuesday afternoon targeted the supply routes of terrorist groups in Hama northwestern countryside in retaliation to their breaches of the de-escalation zone agreement.

SANA reported from Hama that after tracking terrorists’ movements, army units conducted concentrated strikes on al-Nusra Front militants’ positions on outskirts of Kafr Zita and al-Arba’ain towns in the northern countryside.

More reports indicated that the army carried out airstrikes and shelled terrorists’ positions in the towns to the northwest of Hama province.

Heavy losses were inflicted upon terrorists in the attacks and several of their hideouts, launch pads and ammunition depots as well as military equipment were destroyed.

On Monday, the Syrian army units expanded operations in retaliation to breaches of peace agreement with the government and continued attacks to safe zones in Hama and Idlib provinces by terrorists.
