Persepolis Midfielder Bashar Resan Undergoes Surgery


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Persepolis football team's Iraqi midfielder Bashar Resan underwent a successful shoulder surgery in Tehran on Tuesday with an estimated time of recovery two months.

Resan will be released from the hospital after two days.

He missed the match against Machine Sazi on Saturday and will be absent in the match against Pars Jonoubi, scheduled for May 18.

Resan will also miss two matches against Al Sadd of Qatar in the 2019 AFC Champions League and the match against Sepahan in Iran’s Hazfi Cup semifinals.
