Ansarifard Appointed as Persepolis General Manager
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mohammad Hassan Ansarifard has been named as new General Manager of Persepolis football club on Tuesday.
Ansarifard, 56, replaced Iraj Arab who resigned from his post after five months.
Ansarifard played at Persepolis from 1987 to 1992.
He won four titles with Persepolis in Tehran Province League and two Hazfi Cup as well as Asian Cup Winners' Cup in 1991.
Ansarifard stepped down as head of Iran’s Futsal Committee last week.
Speaking to reporters, Ansarifard said that Persepolis is going to defend its title at the Iran Professional League for the fourth successive year as well as winning AFC Champion League for the first time.
