Iran Remains Asia's Best in Latest FIFA Ranking
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran remained Asia’s top ranked team at 23 in the latest FIFA World Ranking which was released on Thursday.
Marc Wilmots’s team, who prepares for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, is followed by Japan, South Korea and Australia.
Iran recently defeated Hong Kong 2-0 in FIFA World Cup qualifier and will host Cambodia on October 10.
Belgium sits the first in the ranking, followed by France, Brazil, England and Portugal.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be released on October 24.
