Ex-PSG Forward Ben Arfa Linked with Iran’s Tractor

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hatem Ben Arfa has been reportedly linked with a move to Iranian football club Tractor.

The free agent forward is on Tractor’s radar as well as Italian clubs Fiorentina and Sampdoria, Tuttomercatoweb has said.

Tractor wants to pay €1.8 million to land the 32-year-old player.

The Iranian football club, headed by former Galatasaray coach Mustafa Denizli, seeks to win the league title for the first time.

Ben Arfa is a former French youth international and has played at all levels for France. At the under-17 level, he was a part of the team that won the 2004 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.

Ben Arfa was called up to the senior team for the first time in October 2007 for a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying match against the Faroe Islands. He has made fifteen appearances for France, scoring twice.
