Syrian Army Regains Control over More Areas in Idlib's Southeast (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syrian army forces took back control of more villages in the southeastern countryside of Idlib province on Monday.
Syrian army units continued operations against gatherings of terrorist organizations in Idlib’s southeastern countryside, achieving new victories by establishing control over the villages of Um al-Khalakhil, Dahret a-Zarzour, al-Sayeer and al-Musheirfeh farms after inflicting heavy losses on terrorists’ ranks and equipment in the region, SANA reported.
Army units engaged in fierce clashes with terrorists from al-Nusra Front terrorist organization and affiliated groups in the villages of Dahret Zarzour and al-Musheirfeh farms in southeastern Idlib countryside on Monday.
Earlier, SANA reported that the army units carried out artillery and rocket bombardments before their advancement and they clashed with terrorist organizations affiliated to al-Nusra Front terrorist organization in Um al-Khalakhil village in Idlib countryside.
On Sunday, the army regained control over al-Musheirfeh village in Idlib’s region a few days after establishing control over al-Luaibdeh Gharbyia village and Tal Khazna and eliminating the last bastions of terrorists in the area.
