Iran Beaten by Brazil at FINA World Junior Water Polo C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Brazil 11-8 at the classification round of the 20th FINA World Men's Junior Water Polo Championships on Wednesday.
Iran started the campaign with a win over Kuwait at the Al-Nasar Sport Club in Kuwait City in the opening match but has since lost to USA, Italy, Montenegro, Egypt and Brazil.
Iran will play the loser of Uzbekistan and Kuwait on Thursday.
In the last edition of the championships, held in 2017 in Belgrade (SRB), the medalists were Greece (gold), Croatia (silver) and Serbia (bronze).
