Any Response to IRGC Missile Attacks to Incinerate US Interests in Region: Adviser

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An adviser to commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) warned on Wednesday that any US reaction to the IRGC missile attacks on American bases in Iraq would incinerate all interests of the US across the region.

Speaking to Tasnim on Wednesday, Hamid Reza Moqaddamfar praised the IRGC forces for the fast strike on the US airbase of Ain al-Assad in Iraq, saying the attack was launched on the same American base from which the January 3 attack for the assassination of Lt. General Soleimani had been organized.

“The revenge was taken on a very large scale and against the Americans’ most important base in Iraq, which is known as the US capital in Iraq,” he said, adding that initial reports suggest extensive damages to the airbase, although the Americans try to hide the truth.

“The Americans have to accept the humiliation after this Iranian action. Any reaction from the US will increase the intensity of our action and the whole resistance front, because their (American) bases and vital interests in the region are within our reach, and if they take any action, all of the American interests across the region will be incinerated,” Moqaddamfar added, stressing that the Americans are too fragile to be able to respond to Iran.

“They realized that Iran can hit their major bases easily and will be able to put any action against US interests into operation from now on too,” he added.

The IRGC adviser went on to say that Iran’s missile attacks revealed the American missile defense system’s weakness, because all of the Iranian missiles hit their targets.

“It shows that we can hit them (Americans) whenever we want, and there is no barrier on this path,” Moqaddamfar concluded.

In the early hours of Wednesday, the IRGC targeted two US airbases in Iraq, including the US airbase of Ain al-Assad in Anbar province in western Iraq, in retaliation for the US assassination of top Iranian anti-terror commander, General Soleimani.
