TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar Doval held a private meeting in the capital of the South Asian country.
During the meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday, Zarif and Doval exchanged views about a range of issues, including the latest developments in bilateral relations between the two countries.
Heading a high-ranking delegation Zarif arrived in India on Tuesday for a three-day visit.
The visit comes amid heightened tensions in the Persian Gulf following the US assassination of top Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad and Iran's retaliatory missile strikes at US targets in Iraq.
