Syria Army Steps Up Fight in Aleppo, Scores More Gains

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syrian forces continued to score gains against terrorists in Aleppo and managed to liberate more areas in the northwestern province after fierce clashes.

On Saturday, Syrian army units stepped up their fight against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group in Aleppo and liberated Urom Kobra, KfarNaha and Jamiat Radwan villages, SANA reported.

The report added that dozens of the militants were killed and injured in the process of the liberation operations.

Idlib and the area north of Aleppo form part of the only large territory still in the hands of militants. The Syrian military has managed to undo militant gains across the country and bring back almost all of Syrian soil under government control.
