IRGC Develops Temperature Screening Device for COVID-19
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on Sunday unveiled a homegrown scanning system that detects the temperature of coronavirus-positive patients in crowded places.
The digital scanning system was unveiled in Tehran’s Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences, an offshoot of the IRGC.
The smart system uses electro-optical technologies to screen the body temperature of people in large crowds.
The temperature screening device can identify the coronavirus patients who have a fever in crowded places.
Last month, the Iranian Defense Ministry launched the mass production of advanced thermal cameras used to screen people for the illness caused by the novel coronavirus.
The Iranian military industries have been working hard over the past weeks to help the medical society in the battle with COVID-19.
