Tarik Dareh Ski in Iran's Hamedan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - After Shemshak and Dizin, The Tarik Dareh Ski Resort is the third noteworthy ski resorts in Iran. It stands on the hillside of Alvand mountain.
The ski resort is situated about 10 kilometers in south-west of Hamedan with a total area of 50 hectares.
Due to the suitable facilities and distinctive features, The Tarik Dareh Ski Resort hosts many ski enthusiasts every year in the ski season and capable of holding the snow ski and grass skiing tournaments in all seasons.
The lowest elevation of the resort is 2600m (8,530 ft.) while its highest elevation is 3150m (10,334 ft.) and that’s why the ski resort has an amazing powdery snow on it. The length of the ski slope is 1,700 meters.
