Trump's Mishandling of COVID-19 Crisis A Burden on US Nurses: Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said the incompetence of the US administration to address the COVID-19 crisis has “imposed intolerable burden” on the American nurses who are on the frontline of the battle against the deadly virus.
“Today is #NursesDay. Amid COVID19, we are all indebted to sacrifice of hero nurses in Iran & across world risking their lives to save ours. The risk is particularly noticed in US where Trump Gvt. incompetence has imposed intolerable burden on frontline nurses, with insufficient equipment,” Seyed Abbas Mousavi tweeted on Tuesday marking the International Nurses Day.
The day is observed around the world on May 12 of each year to mark the contributions that nurses make to society. The International nurses day 2020 theme of 'Nursing the World to Health' rings rightly with the current pandemic situation the world is facing.
The Trump administration has been under harsh criticism over the mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic which has so far infected over 1,385,850 and killed more than 81,795 people across the United States.
