Syria Army Frees Two Key Areas in Hama, Kills 30 Militants

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Syrian army retook two areas from the grip of Takfiri militants in Hama after inflicting major losses on them in the northwestern province, a military source said.

The villages of al-Manarah and al-Fatatera in Sahl al-Ghab were liberated by the Syrian army on Monday, the source said, according to al-Watan paper.

It came after the Syrian troops thwarted an infiltration attempt by terrorists to capture Tanjara in southern Idlib.

During the attack at least 30 militants lost their lives, the source said.
