Syrians Gather in Sweida to Condemn New US Sanctions (+Photos)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syrian residents in Sweida gathered in city’s central square and in front of governorate building to put to show a national stance against the new sanctions by the US.
The gathering was organized in rejection and condemnation of the US sanctions and the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, SANA reported.
Participants burned the American and Israeli flags as well as US President Donald Trump's images during the protest to affirm adherence to the national stance against foreign-backed terrorism and show of unity in the face of the US economic war on the country.
