One Killed, 5 Injured in Syria’s Manbij Explosion (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The northern Syrian city of Manbij in the eastern countryside of Aleppo was shaken by a violent explosion on Tuesday that left five civilians injured and one killed.

Local sources said that a blast rocked the city of Manbij, east of Aleppo, this afternoon, as a result of the car bomb explosion in the "Al-Mastaha" garage located behind the central pharmacy in the city center.

The so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with the support of the US coalition, took control of the city of Manbij and its countryside in early 2016, after the expulsion of Daesh.
