People Gather in Paris to Protest against COVID-19 Restrictions (+Video)


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Protesters gathered in Paris to voice anger against government coronavirus restrictions and curfew for restaurants.

Dozens of locals gathered in Paris's 20th district on Saturday, to protest against the coronavirus restrictions, including a 9:00 pm curfew for restaurants and bars that were imposed on October 17, amid a surge in coronavirus cases.

Police forces quickly intervened to disperse and fine the protesters, many of whom were not wearing masks.

France has registered 1,084,659 cases of the coronavirus with 34,536 deaths related to the disease according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
