Persepolis Arrives in Tehran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team arrived in Tehran Sunday noon.
The Iranian team lost to Ulsan Hyundai of South Korea on Saturday 2-1 in the final match of the 2020 AFC Champions League.
No fan was allowed to enter the Imam Khomeini International Airport to welcome the team due to the coronavirus restrictions.
Persepolis fell short to win ACL title for the second time in three years.
In 2018, it lost to Kashima Antlers of Japan 2-0 on aggregate.
