Iranian FM to Begin Tour of Caucasus, Turkey
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will visit Turkey and four states for political talks and bilateral consultations.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh said on Saturday that Zarif will begin the tour on Monday with a delegation.
The top Iranian diplomat will travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey, he said.
The spokesman also noted that the foreign minister will meet his counterparts and other senior officials for talks on the bilateral issues, the latest Caucasus developments, joint projects, and ways to promote peace and stability in the region.
