Iran’s Top MP to Relay Message to Putin in Russia Visit


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf is going to visit Moscow to pass on a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Iranian parliament speaker will begin his three-day visit to Russia on Sunday, February 7.

Qalibaf will give a message to Putin at a meeting that is expected to revolve around the Islamic Republic’s stances on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), economic interaction with Russia, and oil sales.

The Iranian lawmaker will also hold talks with Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin and officials of the Security Council of Russia.
