Iranian FM Praises Iran-Pakistan Friendship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif felicitated the Pakistani nation and its government on the anniversary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in a Twitter message.
“On this day 65 years ago, Pakistan became the world's 1st Islamic republic,” Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote in his message, adding, “We're proud to count Pakistan among our close fraternal neighbors, and we look forward to jointly working to expand ties between our Govts (governments) and nations.”
Zarif also hailed the friendship between two Muslim nations of Iran and Pakistan and wrote “Long live Iran-Pakistan friendship,” in Urdo, Pakistan's national language.
