Faraz Kamalvand Appointed Saipa Head Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Faraz Kamalvand was appointed as new head coach of Saipa football team on Sunday.
Kamalvand, who has already coached top-flight teams Tractor, Sanat Naft and Shahin Bushehr, replaced Ebrahim Sadeghi in the Tehran-based football team.
Kamalvand stepped down as Esteghlal technical manager on Sunday to take charge of Saipa football team.
He was a member of Esteghlal coaching staff who booked a place at the 2021 AFC Champions League Round of 16.
Saipa sits two points above the relegation zone in the Iran Professional League.
