Hundreds Express Support for Palestine outside UN Office in Syrian Capital (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hundreds staged a protest in front of the United Nations office in Damascus on Monday, calling on the UN to urge Israel to stop airstrikes on Gaza.

Protesters were chanting 'Long live Palestine' while holding banners reading 'Gaza under attack 'and 'Genocide of Palestine.' The rally was organized by Palestinian factions in Syria in support of Gaza amid the ongoing conflict.

The confrontation, which began with protests against evictions in East Jerusalem al-Quds's Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, escalated into Israeli airstrikes.

In recent days, Israeli airstrikes have killed 212 Palestinian people, including 61 children.
