VNL 2021: Milad Ebadipour Hails Japan Volleyball Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran volleyball team outside hitter Milad Ebadipour hailed Japan after losing to the team in the 2021 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) opener.
On Friday, Iran was defeated against Japan 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 26-24) in the competition underway in Rimini, Italy.
“Japan played amazing. In the first set, we played really badly, then we improved, but they also started to play better,” Ebadipour said.
“All around the world, Japan is known for its amazing style of play, they play great in block-defense and also in spike. The Japanese players are helping each other and they are a good example for other teams, especially in volleyball, of how to support each other on the court,” he added.
