Iran Starts Thailand Futsal Tournament on High
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran defeated Lithuania 5-0 in Group B of the Continental Futsal Championship Thailand on Sunday.
Team Melli has been pitted in Group B along with Lithuania, Egypt and Tajikistan.
Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kosovo and Mozambique are in Group A.
The tournament got underway in Bangkok, Thailand from July 25 to 30.
The Asia No. 1 is preparing for the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup, where it has been drawn in Group F along with defending champion Argentina, USA, and Serbia.
The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup will be held in Lithuania from September 12 to October 3.
