Iran’s Jafari Snatches First Medal at 2020 Paralympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Jafari from Iran won a silver medal at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo on Friday.
He won a silver with a best lift of 195 kg in the powerlifting men’s -65kg.
China's Lie Lui was first with a best lift of 198 kg.
And third is Algeria's Hoccaine Bettir with his best lift of 192 kg.
Powerlifting at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, is being held at the Tokyo International Forum.
