Enemies Impotent in Face of Iran: IRGC Navy Chief

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy highlighted Iran’s growing military capabilities in protecting its interests in the seas, saying the enemies are unable to take any action against the Islamic Republic for all their purported power.

Speaking in a gathering of IRGC Navy cadets in Iran’s northern city of Rasht, Rear Admiral Ali Reza Tangsiri said the enemies are impotent in the face of Iran despite their purported maximum power.

Nonetheles, he added, the Islamic Republic would never underestimate the enemy and continues to boost its strength in the path to resistance.

Describing the maritime regions as a major field of confrontation with the arrogant powers, the general said the IRGC Navy forces are fully prepared to protect the Iranian nation’s interests in the seas.

“Today, we have focused efforts on keeping the enemy away from the front of Islam and ending the arrogant front’s bullying and acts of aggression against oppressed Muslims,” he stated.

In comments last month, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami said the enemies of the Islamic Republic are facing a lose-lose situation with a sense of “strategic frustration”.

The enemy will have to pay a cost if it chooses to stay and will feel the shame of escape if it runs away, the senior commander warned.
