Iran’s Mojtaba Goleij Claims Bronze at 2021 World Wrestling C’ships


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mojtaba Goleij from Iran took a bronze medal at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships on Tuesday.

In the 97kg bronze medal match, Goleij defeated Olziisaikhany Batzul from Mongolia 10-0.

Russian wrestler Abdulrashid Sadulaev won the gold medal, beating American Kyle Snyder 6-0 in the final match.

A total of 800 wrestlers from 100 countries are competing at the Wrestling World Championships, being held from October 2 to 10 in Oslo, Norway.
