Persepolis Beats Nassaji, Aluminum Downs Foolad: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team defeated Nassaji 2-1 in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Wednesday.
In the match, held at the Azadi Stadium, Mehdi Abdi scored twice in the 42nd and 63rd minutes.
Karim Eslami also scored for the visiting team in the 49th minute.
In Arak, Aluminum defeated Foolad 3-0 in Arak’s Emam Khomeini Stadium.
Alireza Naghizadeh (59th), Pouria Aryakia (86th) and Ali Fateh (90th) were on target for Aluminum.
