TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign minister of Iran said Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have agreed on the formulation of a road map to long-term cooperation between the two countries.

In a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday night, Hossein Amirabdollahian gave details of a meeting that the Iranian and Russian presidents held in Moscow earlier in the evening.

“In the important, cordial and long meeting between Dr. Raisi and Putin in Kremlin, the relations between Tehran and Moscow were placed in a new, diversified and accelerating path,” he said.

“In the new chapter of relations, premium cooperation will take place,” Amirabdollahian added.

He also noted that the two presidents have agreed on the formulation of a long-term road map to cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.

“The future world will pivot on multilateralism,” the Iranian foreign minister stated.

Raisi arrived in Moscow on Wednesday and held a meeting with his Russian counterpart.
