Navidkia Disappointed by Sepahan Loss against Al-Duhail
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan coach Moharram Navidkia is disappointed after his side squandered a number of chances against Al-Duhail Sunday night.
Sepahan lost to Al-Duhail 1-0 in Group D of the 2022 AFC Champions League.
“The result was disappointing for us, especially as we played a good first half,” said Navidkia.
“In my opinion, Al-Duhail also performed very well, especially in the second half. I think that in this type of tournament it is necessary to take advantage of opportunities in the correct way in order to achieve a positive result.
“We congratulate them on the victory.”
With all four teams level on three points after two games, Al-Duhail takes on Pakhtakor next while Sepahan face Al-Taawoun.
