Iran Basketball to Play Two Friendlies with KK FMP Belgrade
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national basketball team will play two friendly matches with Serbian club KK FMP Belgrade.
The matches will be held as part of preparation for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers.
Iran is scheduled to play Kazakhstan and Syria on July 1 and 4, respectively in Group D.
Team Melli left Tehran early Wednesday for Belgrade.
Iran is leading by newly-appointed coach Saeid Armaghani in the Serbian training camp.
