Iran Loses to Tunisia in IHF Women’s Junior Handball World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Tunisia 29-24 at the 2022 Women's Junior Handball World Championship on Thursday.
Iran was held by Guinea (19-19) in its opening match in Group B.
The Iranian team is scheduled to face Sweden on Saturday.
Following the initial round robin, a main round will follow with the top two teams in each of the eight groups move into four groups and battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals.
The third and fourth placed teams of the original round will be relegated to classification rounds which will rank the 32nd to 16th-placed finishers.
