Defending Champion Esteghlal Suffers Loss against Sepahan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran Professional League (IPL) defending champion Esteghlal lost to Sepahan 2-0 in the opening week of the league on Friday.
Sepahan won the match courtesy of goals from Yasin Salmani (52nd) and Ramin Rezaeian (57th) in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
