Israel Facing Strategic Threat in Palestine: Iranian Diplomat
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Iranian deputy foreign minister said the Zionist regime has realized that it is facing a strategic threat within the occupied territories.
In a meeting in Tehran on Saturday, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Baqeri and Qatar’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz al-Khalifi discussed the bilateral issues, the regional situation and international developments.
Baqeri pointed to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people, saying child murder has become a normative part of the reign of Zionists and shows they are filled with strategic fear of future.
Child killing is deplorable by any humane metric and standard, the Iranian diplomat added, saying the Zionists have realized that they are facing a strategic threat within the occupied territories with the new generation of Palestinian youths playing a key role.
He also underscored that the Palestinian issue has no expiry date and Palestine is always the number one priority of the Muslim world, the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s website reported.
Baqeri further said that the Muslim governments must do more to support the Palestinian people in different arenas.
For his part, the Qatari deputy foreign minister referred to Iran and Qatar’s commonalities and underlined the need for the governments of the two countries to expand their relations in all spheres.
