Yemen Warns Against Suspicious Activities of US, French Troop in South

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The National Salvation Government's parliament in Sana'a issued a warning about suspicious activities of the US and French troops in occupied areas of the south, which has been the target of a devastating Saudi-led war since 2015.

In a statement, the Yemeni parliament's presiding board warned against suspicious activities in the country's southern occupied cities by forces affiliated with the US and France — two of the main Western supporters of the Riyadh-led war against Yemen.

The parliament also urged vigilance in the face of "treacherous" efforts by the Saudi-led coalition of aggressors to obstruct the implementation of the UN-mediated truce, according to the Saba news agency.

The Saudi coalition-Ansarullah truce, brokered by the UN, went into effect in April. The cease-fire has been extended twice since then.

However, Sana'a has reported numerous violations of the truce by Saudi-led forces.
