Iranian Actor Amin Tarokh Passes Away


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Renowned Iranian actor Amin Tarokh passed away at age 69 in Tehran on Saturday.

The highly-revered actor has been admitted to the hospital a few days ago after suffering a heart attack.

Tarokh has a stellar record of professional role-playing in the theater and the motion picture industry for more than 50 years.

Born on August 11, 1953, in Iran’s southwestern city of Shiraz, he graduated from the University of Tehran’s School of Performing Arts & Music in the 1970s.

Tarokh played major roles in many movies and TV series, one of the most notable of which was Ibn Sina.
