Iran’s Men’s Eases Past Kazakhstan at Sitting Volleyball Worlds


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Defending men’s champion Iran won its second match of the 2022 Sitting Volleyball World Championships on day two of the tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Iran earned a second successive victory in straight sets at the Hotel Hills Arena as it defeated Kazakhstan 25-12, 25-18, 25-7.

Hadi Rezaei’s men had defeated Iraq 3-0 in their opening match.

Iran will play Croatia Sunday night.

The men’s and women’s competitions started on Friday in Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo and will run until November 11.
