Iran’s Men’s Team Eases Past US at Sitting Volleyball World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s team defeated the US 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-17) at the 2022 Sitting Volleyball World Championship on Tuesday.
Iran had finished the initial pool stage undefeated as it had defeated Iraq, Kazakhstan and Croatia.
Team Melli also beat Japan 3-0 in the knockout stage.
Iran will play the winner of Brazil and Ukraine in the competition’s semifinal.
The men’s and women’s competitions started on Friday in Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo and will run until November 11.
