Iran Downs Australia at 2022 IBSA Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran football 5-a-side team overpowered Australia 8-0 at the 2022 International Blind Football Federation (IBSA) Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships on Sunday.
Behzad Zadaliasghar (three goals), Sadegh Rahimi (two goals), Hossein Rajabpour, Morteza Karimi and Ahmad Shahhosseini scored for Iran.
Iran is scheduled to meet Uzbekistan on Monday.
Group A: India, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Kazakhstan
Group B: Iran, Australia, Uzbekistan, Japan, South Korea
The competition is being held in Kochi, India from November 11 to 18.
This event is a qualifier for the World Championships Birmingham 2023 and the Paris Paralympics 2024.
