Iran Routs Uzbekistan at 2022 IBSA Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Uzbekistan 6-0 at the 2022 International Blind Football Federation (IBSA) Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships on Monday.
Iran had started the campaign with an 8-0 win over Australia on Sunday.
Sadegh Rahimi (three goals), Behzad Zadaliasghar (two goals) and Ahmad Shahhosseini scored for Iran.
Iran will meet Japan on Tuesday.
Group A: India, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Kazakhstan
Group B: Iran, Australia, Uzbekistan, Japan, South Korea
The competition is being held in Kochi, India from November 11 to 18.
This event is a qualifier for the World Championships Birmingham 2023 and the Paris Paralympics 2024.
