Persepolis Beats Sanat Naft: IPL
TEHHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team defeated Sanat Naft 2-1 in Abadan in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Wednesday.
Fardin Yousefi scored for Sanat Naft in the eighth minute but Cheick Diabate equalized the match with a header in the 19th minute.
The Malian forward scored once again in the early minutes of the second half to seal an away win for the Reds.
Sepahan remains top with 39 points, followed by Persepolis (39) and Esteghlal (36).
