Amir Ghalenoei on Verge of Taking Charge of Iran Football Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Ghalenoei is on the verge of being appointed as Iran's national football team head coach.
Local media have reported that the football federation of Iran has reached an agreement with the Gol Gohar coach.
Felix Sanchez, the former Qatar coach, was also a candidate to take charge of Team Melli but he was appointed as Ecuador coach on Saturday.
Ghalenoei had previously announced that he would not accept the federation’s request to lead Iran but media reports suggest that he will be appointed as Iran coach.
