Iran Wins Silver at 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran claimed a silver medal in the 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship on Monday.
Iran had defeated Hong Kong in its opening match and also emerged victorious over Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Uzbekistan and Thailand.
Kazakhstan beat Thailand 18-7 in the bronze medal match.
The 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship took place from March 22 to 27 in Singapore.
Iran has qualified for the 2023 FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup.
