Iranian FM Due in Russia on Wednesday


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foreign Minister of Iran Hossein Amirabdollahian will travel to Moscow on March 29 for talks with his Russian counterpart, Iran’s ambassador said.

The Iranian ambassador to Russia said in a tweet that Moscow will host Foreign Minister Amirabdollahian on Wednesday.

According to Kazem Jalali, the Iranian foreign minister and his Russian counterpart are going to hold talks about the implementation of the agreements concluded by the presidents of the two countries, the regional developments, the progress made in the implementation of the deals reached in the Joint Commission of the two states, and the latest status of the North-South Corridor.

On March 19, Amirabdollahian said he will be making an official visit to Moscow to discuss security matters as part of Iran's efforts to stop the Ukraine conflict.
