Iran Football Federation Confirms Participation in 2023 CAFA
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran football federation has announced that Team Melli will participate in the 2023 CAFA Championship.
The first edition of the men’s CAFA will be held from June 9 to 21 this year in Kyrgyzstan.
All six member associations of the Association – Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan– have given their confirmation for participation in the CAFA-2023 championship.
Russia will likely participate in the tournament as well.
Team Melli will then take part in a four-team tournament in Jordan in October.
